Freshpack Technologies started with a question: What if vegetables could stay fresh longer — without electricity?
Born in Morogoro, Tanzania, Freshpack was founded by Editha Mshiu and her team to tackle the everyday struggle of spoilage in street markets. With over 40% of vegetables lost before being sold, vendors were losing income daily.

We created a water-based cooling box that helps vendors preserve freshness, boost profits, and reduce food waste — without relying on unreliable electricity.
